I suddenly remembered this and I wish to share with future patients of hospitals (not that I hope any of you would be one, but if it just happens to be the case). And I believe I speak on behalf of many medical technologists out there:

If you are told to take stool samples by the doctors or nurses when you visit a clinic or hospital, PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE, do not shit so much into the container can?

Apparently, I believe in hospitals they give you a container with a TINY spoon attached to the cap. So please for the love of god, use the damn spoon.

We really don't need so much of your stool sample.
Please dont give us like a full container or 3/4 full. Not even half is needed. Or a quarter even, I'm sure.
So you don't have to hand in a container that looks as though you pooped right straight into it.
For if you haven't already found out, it stinks and doesn't exactly look very appealing.
So save the kiasuism for another day, cos we really, seriously don't need that much shit samples. No, really.
